Today I want to take a moment to share a little something that has simply changed my life and gave me a quality of life that I never had before. A year and a half ago I purchased this starter kit. Now I am not going to lie, I was extremely apprehensive about purchasing this kit because I have a delicate system and at the time that I purchased the kit I was so ill that I had to resign from working after working in management for over 30 years. Western medicine simply was not helping me, I just kept getting sicker. Every couple of years I had to have yet another surgery and after each surgery I would never fully recover and before I new it I was sick again. I decided to take a more holistic approach. After much research I decided I would go ahead and purchase the kit, after all..if I did not like it I could always send it back. The first day I received it I fell in love with the diffuser. I opened every oil and smelled each one. The fragrance was so soothing. I decided to diffuse peppermint. I only put a few drops in the diffuser becasue I figured I would not need much since they are therapeutic grade. As I defused I found my mood lifting, the fragrance was so crisp and invigorating. Then my friend gave me the Essential Oils Pocket Reference and as I read it I began to realize all the ways in which the Young Living Therapeutic grade oils can be used and before I new it instead of having medicine in my medicine cabinet I had essential oils becasue well in all honesty I found that for everything that was in my medicine cabinet there was an oil for that and I would much rather use the oils than over the counter medications. Then I started using the oils to treat my stomach issues. Much to my surprise I found that I no longer needed to use my prescription stomach medicine. If I had a canker sore, diarrhea, stomach ache, nausea, vomiting, fever, headache, muscle pain, wound, ear ache, weight loss no matter what it was I could always find an oil instead. Fascinating!!! I had to learn more so I became a Lemon Dropper (https://vimeo.com/123219458).
I am proud to be a Lemon Dropper because for the first time in my life I
am loved, valued, respected, and supported. I had always dreamed of an
employer who would offer all of this but never found one. I fell in love
with Young Living Essential oils and while I was horrified to become a
Lemon Dropper (due to nightmare experiences with prior MLM's) I soon
came to learn that although we are a Multi Level Marketing our MLM true
identity is Many Loving Members. We love
and care about one another and support each other even if we have yet
to meet face to face. We spread love and healing throughout the world.
As I write this it brings tears to my eyes because all I ever wanted in
an employer was a warm embrace, a chance to be human. While I am self
employed in my Young Living business I am far from alone. I am
surrounded by love and compassion, the very ingredients needed to make a
difference in this world. I have herd it said it takes a village to
raise a child and although all my children are now grown I am happy to
finally be a part of a village. Lemon Droppers boldly move to inspire
and support, love and embrace, all those who seek to share love and
healing in a world that seeks hope and new beginnings.
So I shared all this to say the reason why I do essential oils is because I love people, I know what it is to be sick and have a poor quality of life and I want more than anything to help others understand that there are other options out there to help you achieve health optimal health. I am finally healthy and happy and I want the same for all of you.
God gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well~Voltaire

Just Breathe
Wow, it has been a while since I have blogged and I must say life these last couple of months has been an adventure. As I went through the trials and tribulations of the challenges this last few months with my daddy's health I began to realize the beauty of taking time to just breathe. I spend 30 minutes each morning in meditation and although it is early when I do (usually around 5am) I find that this is a special precious time for mind and body. When I meditate I usually place my hands on a part of my body that I feel needs healing or strength and as I take in a deep breath I exhale and in my mind say healing. This beautiful quiet peaceful time is essential for my body although I never realized just how essential until I became so wrapped up in thought that I forgot to take time to just breathe. When this happened my days became chaotic and time slipped by so fast and I found I had difficulty sleeping becasue I simply could not cope with the stresses of the days and the fears of what may be. When I realized that I had been forgetting to meditate I began again to take my time and just breathe. Then my body began to feel at rest I felt peace regardless of what was transpiring somehow everything seem to fall into place and work itself out.
